ELK Security was engaged to deliver a comprehensive surveillance and monitoring solution for Gladesville Marina, a high-traffic waterfront facility in Sydney. The project included the deployment of a Milestone VMS server integrated with Axis IP cameras, providing complete visual coverage across the marina-including walkways, docking zones, vessel lanes, and common areas.
One of the primary challenges was cabling beneath the wharf, which required careful planning around tide schedules and environmental conditions. Through close collaboration with marina management, our team overcame these obstacles and successfully delivered the project on time and within budget.
In addition to CCTV, we implemented an audio detection system to monitor and manage noise levels in accordance with local council and neighbourhood regulations. When triggered, the system alerts the control room, allowing security personnel to log in remotely, view live footage, and communicate directly with on-site individuals-all from a secure, off-site location.
This tailored solution enhances marina safety, maintains compliance with noise restrictions, and provides operators with reliable, 24/7 situational awareness.
